ANNUAL
TAKE ACTION CONFERENCE

BE PART OF AN EVENT LIKE NO OTHER
Every year, the Take Action Institute will hold a conference convening high school and college students who desire to take action in their communities. We will teach them the skills they need and equip them with tools to build sustainable projects.
The Take Action Institute is for local High School and College students (ages 16-25) and will kick off with a two-day conference on Jan 22nd and 23rd, 2022 The first day is at the Hilton Orlando from 8:30 AM to 7:30 PM and the 2nd day is at Universal Studios Orlando starting at 9 AM.
At the Take Action Conference, you will meet other students, like you, who desire to create change in your community. Over a two-day period, you will be inspired by keynote speakers and facilitators who have started movements, peaceful activations, and are experts in the areas of diversity, equity, and inclusion. You will also have time to meet key community organizations working towards equity in our local community and have time to network and think with your peers.
You will receive tangible tools you can use to take action effectively and consciously in your community. We are proud to partner with Universal Orlando Resort who will share their secrets to storytelling success, and the afternoon of day two of the conference is lunch and play in the Park.
We invite you to attend this conference with an open mind and desire for change, and we commit you will leave equipped to immediately take action.

from these responses and the needs of the community.

Take Action Institute speakers and facilitators are mentors to students. Students will also be trained to become mentors over time as their projects grow and thrive.
